The Cotentin is a hiking region par excellence, and it's actually difficult to single out one hike from the plethora of options available. However... we'll do it anyway! Simply because this hike is something of a quintessence of what the peninsula represents and takes you through (almost) all the landscape forms that the peninsula has to offer.

It's a 2-3 hour circular tour, and for us, it starts at 'Le Tourp, Maison de la Hague'. This Manoir de Tourp is a mansion from the 16th century and now houses a local museum, which introduces visitors to the land, people, geography, and history of the furthest corner of the Cotentin and is absolutely worth a visit!!

But back to our hike: The first half-hour takes us through pasture and hedgerow landscapes towards the coast. Then suddenly, the view opens up and... discover and enjoy it for yourself!
